As an AIFD Approved Education Partner, our courses aid aspiring florists in obtaining certification, paving the path to becoming a Certified Floral Designer (CFD®) or an accredited member of AIFD through enrolment in the Professional Floral Design Evaluation (PFDE) program.

This is a hands-on course, in preparation of candidate intends to enrol in AIFD’s Professional Floral Design Evaluation (PFDE) program but lack the necessary practices in all aspects of the professional curriculum.

About the course

Assessment: To be attended after 100% completion of the course. You will have 3 hours 45 minutes to design and create 5 floral pieces according to the requirements.

Certification: Upon successful completion, you will receive the following:

  • Letter of Certificate
  • Course Transcript
  • Certificate of Completion

*Certificate of Achievement will be awarded by NSFD upon achieving at least a “pass” in the exam.
*A 're-test' fee of $200 for materials will be charged for each design requiring an exam retake.

Sessions Breakdown

Day 1: 4 floral designs
Day 2: 4 floral designs
Day 3: assessment - design 5 floral pieces within 3 hours 45 minutes

There are 3 sessions in total, each lasting 8 hours, to be completed over 3 days.

Our CFD/AIFD Preparation Course is conducted in groups; however, you may suggest preferred timeslots for us to coordinate a suitable schedule for everyone. The course must be completed within a week, typically finishing in 3 consecutive days.

The total cost for this course is $2500, which includes the trainer, course, and material fees.

A minimum of 3 years of floristry experience, subject to the school review through a trial class to assess your understanding.
